We've been working with a really excellent DJ recently, as many of our clients have been interested in having one present to complement the live music of the band. He's also a good choice for people with budget limitations or events that simply don't have the physical space for a full band.
DJ Daigoro is based in NYC (not to be confused with the guy based in Italy who uses the same name), spins at places like Joya, Patio, Bogota Latin Bistro, Sin Sin, and has done weddings and private events from NY and Miami to Vermont and Cuba. Like our band, he avoids "phoning it in" with the same boring, tired, wedding/bar mitzvah set that every other DJ plays (i.e. "Celebration", "Hey Ya", etc.), and plays classic funk, soul, reggae, R&B, rock and hip-hop (if desired). Instead, Daigoro works closely with our clients to make sure he plays the memorable music they want and keeps everyone dancing.
