Dexter Lake on Letterman!

Tim from the DLCB turned in a great performance on the Late Show with David Letterman last night, backing up a UK artist named Findlay Brown. Tim was joined by several of the horn and string players that we frequently bring in upon request when people want to supplement our standard line-up.

On Letterman, and showcase...

Happy New Year Everyone,

Some exciting stuff happening in the coming weeks:

Tim from our band will be appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday, January 12th, playing sax with Verve Records recording artist, Findlay Brown.

We'll be showcasing for anyone who'd like to hear the band in person in midtown NYC at 3:45 PM on January 23rd. Please email dexterlake@gmail.com for full details or to reserve a space.

Slideshow

In addition to the great feature on the band in today's New York Times Style section, there is a slideshow of photos of us on their website. These really capture the glamorous side of being in a wedding band!

New York Times Feature!

There's a long article about the band in tomorrow's New York Times Style section. Here's a link:

We're in NY Magazine...

We are thrilled and flattered to again be featured in NY Magazine's Weddings Issue. There is a nice description of the band in the magazine's Get With the Band article ("Eleven versatile musical ensembles that will keep the party on the dance floor all night long."), and we're also included again in their preferred vendor list in the back.

Wristielove

There's a nice description of the band on wristielove.blogspot.com, a wedding planning blog. It also features the only known photo of the band eating potato chips:
